Bryce Christensen has an extensive background as a professional violinist including 29 years as a member of the Cedar Rapids Symphony (now called Orchestra Iowa), 26 years as a player for the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony, 10 years experience with a traveling music ministry, 10 years experience performing in area churches as a soloist and on worship teams, and 8 years experience as a member of a professional string quartet. Bryce has performed for a wide variety of special occasions, including weddings, wedding receptions, Bar Mitzvah receptions, funerals, church services, nursing home services, Christmas celebrations, musical recitals, church drama productions (including The Passion Play at First Assembly of God Church in Cedar Rapids) and more. He has performed as a violin soloist, as well as in large and small ensembles. His musical repertoire includes pieces from Baroque to Classical and from Modern to Jazz, from church hymns and worship choruses to free-flowing improvisational accompaniment with a little bit of lively fiddle tunes thrown in every once in while as well.
